My friends and I went out for coffee at a little cafe that has really great coffee and croissants... Tasty!
The remnants of a Boston Cream Cake that was delicious!
All kinds of coffee and croissants!
Beautiful, fanciful, playful tablescapes to share with you... and delectable dishes to inspire...

Yellow Napkin with Slate Blue Iris Makes a Splash
Homemade spaghetti sauce with mushrooms. I even ground the meat myself. The most delicious ground sirloin I have ever tasted.
Cooking Angel Hair pasta. It only takes four minutes.
A delicious lunch.
Beautiful iris on yellow background makes this place setting special.
This is such a happy combination of colors!
This thermal glass sports an embroidered dragon fly between the layers. Fun and unique.

Thinking of the Beach
A brass fish napkin holder with a small shell trivet in the foreground.
A lovely and inventive centerpiece adds to the romance.
The place setting with square beige plates and a little sand pail. How cute is that?
Hors d'oeuvre toothpicks, topped with small shells, that a friend of my mother's made for her decades ago.
This hand-made serving bowl in the shape of a fish is one of my favorites.
The completed look.

A Study of Casual Elegance
Golds, browns, and a splash of orange help to showcase the brown, woven placemats.
The warm glow of candlelight.
The gold napkin knotted in the middle adds a touch of elegance.
The full place setting.
This one shows the small berries in the dish used for individual crepes.
